Terms of Service

1. Who can use Trace

You must be legally able to use the app in your jurisdiction. Trace is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

2. Accounts and information

To create an account, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.

3. Your content and license

You retain ownership of your journal content. You grant us a limited, non‑exclusive, worldwide license to store, host, and display your content solely to operate the service and provide it to you.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
• Do not use Trace to store illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not interfere with other users or infrastructure.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid features are handled through Apple’s App Store. Apple’s terms and billing rules apply. Pricing, features, and availability may change at any time. You can cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Trace after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Termination

You may stop using Trace at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we must do so to protect the service, users, or legal obligations.

8. Disclaimers

Trace is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error‑free operation, or the availability of any specific feature.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prince Holdings LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prince Holdings LLC from claims, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of state and federal courts located in Delaware.
